Congratulations to Dr. Victor Lando on his appointment as a Senior Lecturer- Riara Law School

Dr. Victor Lando is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Nairobi, a Master of Laws (LLM), and a Doctor of Laws (LLD) degree from the Centre for Human Rights, University of Pretoria, South Africa. He is a Certified Professional Mediator and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK), the Law Society of Kenya (LSK), and the International Commission of Jurists (ICJ).

Dr. Lando is not only a champion and advocate for human rights, good governance, and social justice but is also a versatile lawyer and academic with a wealth of experience in both domestic and international law, having served in several positions in reputable organizations including the International Rescue Committee (IRC), the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights (KNCHR)

His research interests include constitutional law, human rights, and humanitarian law, regional integration (EAC) law, and the interface between the law, technology, and innovation.
