Dr. Victor Lando is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from the University of Nairobi, a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Human Rights and Democratisation from the University of Pretoria, and a Doctor of Laws (LLD) degree, also earned from the University of Pretoria. He is also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, the Law Society of Kenya, and the International Commission of Jurists.
He has over fifteen years of experience in the legal sector with a specialty in human rights, regional integration within the EAC Treaty framework, humanitarian and refugee law as well as constitutional law, technology law, and intellectual property law. Dr. Lando has served in several reputable organizations including the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights (KNCHR), the International Rescue Committee (IRC), and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). Dr.Lando is currently a Partner at the firm of KLA Advocates LLP (www.kamaulando.co.ke ) and serves as Dean, of Riara Law School, Nairobi. His research interests include among others, regional integration, human rights, constitutional law as well as technology law.
